The idea for our Ready two Go safer sex kits was born over dinner party conversation. While Brad Hanson and Jim Botsford were dining with friends in St. Paul, Minnesota the conversation turned toward a lighthearted conversation about sex in the spur of the moment.

“Wouldn’t it be great to have an emergency sex kit for those times you want to be wildly spontaneous?” Though a light-hearted conversation, Brad took the idea seriously. He had already lost friends to AIDS and knew first hand the consequences of not being safe in the spur of the moment. After a few weeks of visioning the possibilities, Brad Hanson founded Mad BJ, LLC in an effort to help educate the public on STDs while providing a “real” solution for the needs of consumers. The idea was to keep it simple – SAFE and FUN.

Mad BJ was founded in March 2006 and is the maker of the Ready two Go stylish and discreet safer sex kits. Through its products, education and philanthropic divisions, Mad BJ and Ready two Go make it easy to be spontaneous and safer every time.

Mad BJ distributes its full line of Ready two Go safer sex kits through a variety of retail stores, distributors, and the Internet, and works in collaboration with many non-profit organizations.
